An important interview was conducted by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Research Development Coordination to strengthen how R&D processes work in the pharmaceutical sector. The event titled “Interview on University–Industry R&D Collaboration with Sanovel Pharmaceuticals” was held face-to-face on November 17, 2025, at the SKS Avşarhan Cinema Hall. The event was also broadcast simultaneously via Zoom, ensuring wide participation. Sanovel Formulation Development Manager F. Bilgehan Atak and Sanovel Human and Culture Business Partner Kevser Sarısakallı participated as speakers in the interview. In his presentation titled “Generic Human and Veterinary Drug Development and Analytical Processes,” F. Bilgehan Atak conveyed the laboratory stages of the drug development cycle, formulation approaches, and the scientific foundations of analytical processes in a detailed and comprehensible manner. Atak’s simplification of technical information to provide a conceptual framework was followed with interest by both academics and students. His responses to questions from participants with examples further increased the interaction of the presentation. Subsequently, Kevser Sarısakallı, who took the floor, comprehensively explained the company's human resources approach, corporate culture, R&D structure, and models for employee development in her speech titled “Discovering Sanovel.” The information shared by Sarısakallı on talent management, corporate communication, and internship opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector was guiding for young researchers interested in the sector. With her fluent and understandable narration, she offered the opportunity to closely understand Sanovel’s working culture. At the end of the event, Certificates of Appreciation were presented to the speakers F. Bilgehan Atak and Kevser Sarısakallı by the Research Development Coordination for their contributions. Our R&D Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halilibrahim Çiftçi thanked the participants, stating that such programs that strengthen university–industry interaction will continue.
