Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) R&D Coordination and MAKÜ Nanotechnology Society collaborated to hold an important discussion aimed at strengthening the R&D bridges between university and industry. The event, which took place with the valuable participation of Mr. Ömer Faruk Fırat, R&D Director of Polifarma Pharmaceuticals Inc., brought together representatives from the sector and academia.

On Monday, May 18, 2026, at 11:30 AM, a program titled "Discussion on University-Industry R&D Collaboration" was held at Burdur Development Center, where the importance of R&D in today's competitive world and the potential of collaborations between universities and industry in this field were addressed. Mr. Fırat shared Polifarma's experiences in the sector and the contributions of R&D activities to innovation with the participants.
