Times Higher Education World University Rankings-2026 Announced!

Our university has achieved significant success in the 2026 World University Rankings announced by Times Higher Education (THE), one of the most prestigious evaluation platforms in global higher education.

According to the evaluations, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) has placed in the 1501+ band worldwide, writing its name among globally recognized and respected universities. In addition to this success, it has positioned itself at 41st place among universities in Turkey, once again confirming its strong position at the national level.

This proud result is a concrete indicator of our university's continuous development and rise in recent years in areas such as academic performance, research capacity, quality of education, internationalization efforts, and contribution to society.
