In order to strengthen our university's research capacity and analyze its academic performance, a training program consisting of two sessions was organized by the Research and Development Coordination. The trainings provided by Saide Sak from the Elsevier Turkey team were held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, in the Senate Hall.

First Session: SciVal Training

In the first session organized for managers and assistant managers, information was shared about the effective use of the SciVal platform, which is an important tool for evaluating our university's research performance. Throughout the session, topics such as the analysis tools offered by the platform, tracking research outputs, and interpreting academic performance indicators were discussed in detail.

Second Session: Scopus AI Training

In the second session organized for academics and graduate students, the AI-supported research tool Scopus AI was introduced. Participants were provided with comprehensive information about the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence in accelerating literature review processes, intelligent analyses based on research questions, and accessing scientific knowledge.

The trainings, conducted with the participation of managers, assistant managers, academics, and graduate students from various units of our university, were of a nature that will contribute to managing research processes with data-driven and innovative tools.
